Dirty Doggz

Introduction

This was a big contrast in dynamic from my first collaboration. Dakari’s vocal preparation of the entire track meant that the session was driven more by achieving the quality of recordings rather than building a foundation. This session was a staple learning curve in my project. Due to Dakari’s past experience, the session was incredibly fast paced which, for the first time, challenged my ability to work under the pressure of an artist in the recording environment. This experience was a big step for me as an engineer and ended up being a very successful collaboration.
